Job Duties
- Coordinate the flow of information related to shipment movement between owner/operators, drayage vendors, and terminal and rail operators
- Coordinate notifications of any delayed train issues with affected plants
- Handle design issues with the logistics provider on any new or changing routes
- Monitor and maintain revenue opportunities and needs to the terminal and regional fleets to ensure customer service commitments are met
- Monitor and manage equipment flow to ensure capacity is available
- Manage train capacity and control access to trailer equipment within the terminal service area
- Work with brokers, customers, and carrier management groups to ensure service expectations are met
- Work independently and make decisions impacting customer and owner/operator business
- Assist with overflow of work processes throughout the shift as needed
