Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination
  • Must have or obtain food handlers permit within 30 days of employment
  • Must have or obtain alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including money handling
  • Ability to carry out detailed instructions using common sense
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Must be available for variable PM shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic math operations with money and measurements
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet each guest
  • Call out and organize tickets for the kitchen
  • Act as liaison between the service staff and the kitchen
  • Ensure ticket time standard is met by effectively managing courses
  • Communicate any food issues with the Chef
  • Run food from the kitchen line to the tables
  • Know the restaurant set up and seat numbers in order to properly deliver food
  • Assist the servers and bussers as needed
  • Responsible for setting up any items needed with food such as napkins and steak knives
  • Deliver food maintaining proper service sequence and professional demeanor
  • Responsible for timely delivery of food at correct tables and temperature
  • Assist in other restaurant aspects as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of Expo area
  • Work clean and organized in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
  • Work well independently and as an active team member
  • Execute Tree Room and Forbes 4 star standards
  • Support recycling program
  • Complete side work and cleaning lists as directed
