Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience as a sous chef or in a similar leadership food service role
  • Willingness to travel extensively up to 80 percent of the time
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including preferred ServSafe certification
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively
  • Adaptability to new environments and teams
  • Commitment to healthcare food service standards

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience as a sous chef or similar leadership role in food service
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams

Job Duties

  • Travel to hospital locations across the country to provide culinary support as needed
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Train and support on-site culinary teams, implementing standardized recipes and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare food service regulations and dietary requirements
  • Bring creativity and leadership to enhance patient, staff, and visitor dining experiences
