Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education
- minimum 5 years experience in culinary management
- ability to travel weekly
- comfort with frequent changes in reporting structure
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- proficiency in food safety regulations
- ability to manage multiple accounts
- problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- adaptability across cuisines, service styles, and business models
- high-volume, complex operations experience including institutional and batch cooking
- strong catering and hands-on chef background
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet tools
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Lead food production following corporate standards for recipes, portioning, and presentation
- develop and adjust menus per guidelines
- train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, equipment use, and sanitation
- ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
- manage inventory and food cost controls
- enforce cleaning and maintenance schedules
- support front-of-house operations when culinary needs are limited
- adapt quickly to changing supervisors and account needs
- participate in client satisfaction initiatives and staff development
