Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education
  • minimum 5 years experience in culinary management
  • ability to travel weekly
  • comfort with frequent changes in reporting structure
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • proficiency in food safety regulations
  • ability to manage multiple accounts
  • problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
  • adaptability across cuisines, service styles, and business models
  • high-volume, complex operations experience including institutional and batch cooking
  • strong catering and hands-on chef background
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet tools
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead food production following corporate standards for recipes, portioning, and presentation
  • develop and adjust menus per guidelines
  • train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, equipment use, and sanitation
  • ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • manage inventory and food cost controls
  • enforce cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • support front-of-house operations when culinary needs are limited
  • adapt quickly to changing supervisors and account needs
  • participate in client satisfaction initiatives and staff development
