Job Requirements

  • requires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in senior living or healthcare
  • requires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a management role
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • ability to maintain effective relationships with other departments
  • must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lb
  • must be able to stand for extended periods
  • must have certified dietary manager or food service manager certification or equivalent
  • must have completed required food safety and management coursework by October 1, 2023
  • must meet state requirements for food service or dietary managers where applicable
  • must receive scheduled consultation from qualified dietitian or nutrition professional

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in senior living or healthcare
  • at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a management role
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • occasional lifting of up to 50 lb
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • certified dietary manager or food service manager certification or equivalent
  • relevant food safety and management education or experience
  • completion of required food safety and management courses by October 1, 2023
  • compliance with state requirements for food service and dietary managers where applicable
  • scheduled consultations with qualified dietitian or nutrition professional

Job Duties

  • Use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members
  • reward and recognize employees
  • ensure individual and team performance meets objectives and client expectations
  • plan and lead daily team briefings
  • ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
  • identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements
  • deliver client and company financial targets
  • adopt Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends, educate teams on key levers to improve margins
  • bring value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • follow Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
  • ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
  • supervise team regarding production, quality and control
  • maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  • follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including safety, health, wage and hour
  • lead front of the house dining operations with Food Service Director
  • plan, direct and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
  • adapt to changing job duties as needed
