Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Customer service experience
  • Leadership experience

Job Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience
  • Experience in restaurants hotels corporate dining education military health care or related food service operations
  • Hands-on chef experience
  • Extensive catering experience preferred
  • High volume batch cooking and complex food service operations experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality production sanitation food cost controls and presentation
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide temporary culinary leadership at multiple locations covering vacancies events or new openings
  • Execute menus to company and client standards ensuring food quality consistency and presentation
  • Train and support kitchen staff in cooking techniques food safety and cost control
  • Manage inventory ordering and waste reduction while keeping food costs in line
  • Ensure kitchens meet health safety and sanitation standards
  • Support catered events and client needs adapting quickly to different teams and operations
  • Travel frequently and work flexible schedules to meet unit demands
  • Perform a broad range of duties from serving and dishwashing to unit management and catering large-scale events
