Job Description

AMN Healthcare Allied is a prominent healthcare staffing company committed to bridging the gap between top healthcare talent and leading medical facilities across the nation. With over 30 years of dedicated experience, AMN Healthcare Allied has positioned itself as a trusted and innovative partner for healthcare organizations by providing quality staffing solutions. The company's mission focuses on enhancing healthcare delivery by supporting healthcare organizations in reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving overall efficiency. Recognized as an industry leader, AMN Healthcare Allied prides itself on placing the nation's best travel healthcare professionals in key roles where their skills and expertise are valued and utilized to the fullest.

This particular opportunity is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to take on a travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon, at a nonprofit, 25-bed hospital that has been serving the Greater Hermiston region since 1954. As the largest facility in the Good Shepherd Healthcare System, this medical center offers a variety of medical services including medical/surgical, OB/GYN, critical care, and a Level III emergency department operational 24 hours a day. The hospital is well-equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and remains dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care. Hermiston, a city known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreation, offers a welcoming environment for healthcare professionals looking to advance their careers while enjoying an attractive living and working atmosphere.

The travel assignment spans 13 weeks, requiring 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. The position provides a competitive pay range between $2299 and $2369 per week, with the added benefit of a tax-free stipend subject to confirmation. This role is ideal for respiratory therapists who hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist certification and the Oregon state license. Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant adult respiratory experience and current certifications, including RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

In this role, the RRT will be responsible for providing critical respiratory care services to adult patients, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal respiratory therapy treatment plans. The assignment offers an excellent opportunity for travel therapists to gain diverse clinical experience, enhance their skills, and make a positive impact while enjoying the flexibility and benefits associated with travel healthcare positions.

AMN Healthcare Allied provides a comprehensive benefits package that enhances the travel assignment experience. Benefits include competitive pay rates, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, accident and short-term disability coverage, and free continuing education. Additionally, competitive housing deals are offered, along with referral bonuses for recommending other healthcare professionals to the organization. These extensive benefits underscore AMN Healthcare Allied's commitment to supporting its staff both professionally and personally throughout the duration of their assignments.

Embarking on a travel assignment with AMN Healthcare Allied not only offers the chance to serve diverse patient populations but also provides a supportive and resourceful work environment that values your expertise. This position in Hermiston stands as a prime example of AMN’s promise to healthcare professionals: delivering personalized placement experiences, strong community connections, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully at leading healthcare facilities in unique locations throughout the United States.
