With an annual salary range of $70,000 to $75,000, negotiable based on experience, this position demands a commitment to up to 75% travel and requires candidates to live near a major airport to facilitate frequent travel engagements. The Traveling Registered Dietitian will visit acute care facilities throughout the country to oversee all facets of meal service, medical nutrition therapy, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that nutritional standards and patient satisfaction are consistently met.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of nutrition services, including managing therapeutic diet orders, supplement formularies, and maintaining policies that ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines. You will provide vital operational support and training for facility staff, including registered dietitians and diet technicians, to enhance team competency and service quality. Your ability to build strong professional relationships within healthcare teams will be key to fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and nutritional deliverables. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of clinical Registered Dietitian experience and hold the necessary credentials such as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) as per state requirements.
