Job Requirements

  • Valid New Mexico state license
  • Minimum one year of experience in radiation therapy
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registration and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology
  • Prior experience as a radiation therapist or new graduate eligible for the position

Job Qualifications

  • Registered and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior experience as a radiation therapist or recent graduate eligible to practice
  • Valid New Mexico state license in Radiation Therapy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed plans
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment and ensure safety protocols
  • Collaborate with oncologists and medical teams to review and adjust treatment plans
  • Monitor patients for side effects and provide supportive care and education
  • Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately in medical records
  • Participate in quality assurance and safety programs to maintain compliance
  • Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout treatment processes
