Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current state paramedic license
  • NREMT-P willing to apply for Texas reciprocity state license
  • Current driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations in 4 years
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current state paramedic license
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic (NREMT-P) certification
  • Willingness to apply for Texas reciprocity state license
  • Current driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 4 years
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to drive large emergency vehicles safely

Job Duties

  • Provide advanced, intermediate, and basic life support medical care during pre-hospital transport
  • Operate emergency medical vehicles safely under normal and adverse weather conditions
  • Assess patient conditions and deliver timely medical interventions following Acadian protocols
  • Communicate effectively with emergency personnel, hospital staff, and patients’ families
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care reports
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure and certification requirements
  • Participate in training and professional development activities as required
