Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state paramedic license
- NREMT-P willing to apply for Texas reciprocity state license
- Current driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations in 4 years
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state paramedic license
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic (NREMT-P) certification
- Willingness to apply for Texas reciprocity state license
- Current driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 4 years
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to drive large emergency vehicles safely
Job Duties
- Provide advanced, intermediate, and basic life support medical care during pre-hospital transport
- Operate emergency medical vehicles safely under normal and adverse weather conditions
- Assess patient conditions and deliver timely medical interventions following Acadian protocols
- Communicate effectively with emergency personnel, hospital staff, and patients’ families
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care reports
- Ensure compliance with state licensure and certification requirements
- Participate in training and professional development activities as required
