Job Requirements
- registered nurse (RN) license
- telemetry nursing experience
- availability to work 12-hour night shifts
- ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- minimum of 36 hours per week available
- capacity to travel and work in Lafayette, Louisiana
- compliance with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- valid nursing license with RN designation
- specialized experience in telemetry nursing
- strong skills in patient monitoring and critical thinking
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to work 12-hour night shifts effectively
- experience in documentation and patient care protocols
- current CPR and BLS certification
Job Duties
- monitor patient telemetry readings and response to treatment
- administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care planning
- maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- provide patient education on health conditions and care plans
- respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
