Job Requirements

  • registered nurse (RN) license
  • telemetry nursing experience
  • availability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
  • minimum of 36 hours per week available
  • capacity to travel and work in Lafayette, Louisiana
  • compliance with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • valid nursing license with RN designation
  • specialized experience in telemetry nursing
  • strong skills in patient monitoring and critical thinking
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • ability to work 12-hour night shifts effectively
  • experience in documentation and patient care protocols
  • current CPR and BLS certification

Job Duties

  • monitor patient telemetry readings and response to treatment
  • administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care planning
  • maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • provide patient education on health conditions and care plans
  • respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
  • ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
