Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia
  • At least 1 year of experience in step down or critical care nursing
  • Ability to work flexible travel assignments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Certification in BLS required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Must be able to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia for the duration of the assignment

Job Qualifications

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in step down or critical care nursing
  • Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Assess and monitor patients transitioning from ICU to step down unit
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding care and recovery processes
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and provide necessary interventions
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
