Job Requirements
- valid RN license
- minimum 1 year experience in PACU or similar setting
- ability to work 4x10 hour day shifts
- immediate availability or ASAP start
- physical ability to perform nursing duties
- compliance with facility policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- current registered nurse (RN) license
- experience in post anesthesia care unit or related field
- strong clinical assessment skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
- basic life support (BLS) certification
- advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred
Job Duties
- monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
- provide post-operative care and pain management
- assess patients for complications
- collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- document patient care accurately
- respond to emergencies
- educate patients and families about recovery processes
