Job Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room or perioperative nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to travel and relocate for assignment
Job Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Florida
- Previous experience in operating room nursing
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced surgical settings
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Job Duties
- Prepare operating room and surgical instruments before procedures
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgeries
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes
- Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
- Document patient care and surgical details accurately
- Collaborate with perioperative team to ensure patient safety
- Provide post-operative care and patient education
