Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing
  • RN license in good standing
  • Availability to work day shifts
  • Must be willing to travel 50+ miles from permanent address
  • Ability to work in Nashville, Tennessee
  • Background check clearance

Job Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact license eligible
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in OR nursing or cardiovascular operating room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in cardiovascular operating rooms
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies promptly
  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment
  • Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
