Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator RN staff experience or equivalent
  • BSN Degree or Associate of Science in Nursing
  • Current nursing license
  • Valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID
  • Ability to work day shift
  • Willingness to relocate to New Orleans, LA for a 13-week contract
  • Immediate availability to start

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
  • Current nursing license
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an OR Circulator RN or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID

Job Duties

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical team to prepare operating room and equipment
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being throughout the perioperative process
  • Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Document nursing care and patient information accurately
  • Respond promptly to surgical emergencies and assist as needed
