Job Qualifications
- active registered nurse (rn) license
- experience in labor and delivery nursing
- knowledge of labor and delivery procedures
- strong communication and patient care skills
- ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
- completion of required exams such as core mandatory nursing exam and labor and delivery skills exam
Job Duties
- monitor the health of laboring mothers and newborns
- provide physical and emotional support during labor and delivery
- assist physicians during delivery procedures
- educate pregnant women and new mothers on postpartum care and infant health
- manage complications and emergencies in the labor and delivery process
- document patient information accurately
- collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective deliveries
