Job Requirements
- Registered nurse with a valid RN license
- Minimum experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Available to start on August 18, 2025
- Ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts
- Must be able to travel to Des Moines, Iowa
- Ability to comply with medical and travel staffing requirements
Job Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Travel nursing experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care to expectant mothers
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures and emergencies
- Educate and support patients and families through the childbirth process
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
