Job Requirements
- Valid ARRT-RT certification
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an interventional radiology technologist
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift schedule
- Willingness to relocate and work a 13-week travel assignment in Pomona, California
- Must comply with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements
- Effective communication skills and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-RT)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified
- Proven experience in interventional radiology or related radiologic procedures
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team environment
Job Duties
- Operate interventional radiology imaging equipment to assist physicians during procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments for interventional radiology cases
- Monitor patient vital signs and safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and procedural documentation
- Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Educate patients about procedures and provide support to alleviate anxiety
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols at all times
