Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ARRT-MRI certification
- BCLS certification
- at least 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- ability to work travel assignments 50+ miles from permanent residence
- valid state licensure for MRI technology
- ability to stand for extended periods
- attention to detail
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Certified MRI technologist (ARRT-MRI)
- BCLS certification
- strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures
- excellent patient care and communication skills
- ability to operate and maintain MRI equipment
- familiarity with medical imaging software and technology
Job Duties
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images
- prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
- position patients correctly to achieve high-quality images
- adhere to safety protocols regarding magnetic fields and contrast agents
- collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to interpret and understand imaging needs
- maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
- document procedures and patient information accurately
