Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ARRT-MRI certification
  • BCLS certification
  • at least 1 year of MRI technologist experience
  • ability to work travel assignments 50+ miles from permanent residence
  • valid state licensure for MRI technology
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • attention to detail
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Certified MRI technologist (ARRT-MRI)
  • BCLS certification
  • strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures
  • excellent patient care and communication skills
  • ability to operate and maintain MRI equipment
  • familiarity with medical imaging software and technology

Job Duties

  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images
  • prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
  • position patients correctly to achieve high-quality images
  • adhere to safety protocols regarding magnetic fields and contrast agents
  • collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to interpret and understand imaging needs
  • maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
  • document procedures and patient information accurately
