Established in 1900, Auto Club Enterprises has built a robust reputation anchored in trust, quality service, and community commitment. The company thrives on its diverse workforce, which encompasses a rich blend of different cultures, backgrounds, skill sets, and personalities. This diversity fuels a strong team dynamic that delivers legendary and lifelong service to its members, making Auto Club Enterprises a leader in the travel, insurance, and automotive assistance industries. By embracing diversity and inclusivity, the company fosters an environment where all employees can thrive and contribute to its continued growth and success. Auto Club Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer and actively participates in E-Verify. It also complies fully with federal, state, and local laws concerning employment, including regulations that promote fair hiring practices for all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories.

The role of a Travel Consultant at Auto Club Enterprises is a unique blend of passion, sales focus, and customer service excellence. This position offers more than just a job—it provides a career pathway with ample opportunities for growth and leadership development within the company. Travel Consultants are the frontline ambassadors, helping members discover the world one journey at a time by selling and tailoring international and domestic travel packages. These packages include cruises, land tours, air travel, car rentals, and hotel accommodations, all carefully curated to exceed client expectations and deliver memorable travel experiences. The Travel Consultant leverages personal travel knowledge and education from study trips to provide expert advice and recommendations, ensuring trips are perfectly aligned with the members' wishes and preferences.

Success in this role demands a strong sales drive, exceptional organizational skills, and an eye for detail. Travel Consultants must be adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, navigate various computer programs efficiently, and maintain excellent written and oral communication skills. A continuous learning attitude is essential to staying updated on travel trends and company offerings. Travel Consultants develop long-term relationships with members, which fosters customer loyalty and repeat business. Additionally, there is a significant element of cross-selling where consultants promote other company products such as the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft protection services to enhance the overall customer experience.

The company invests significantly in training and development through Auto Club University to ensure new hires are well-prepared for the demands of the role and can excel in their positions. Travel Consultants have access to various incentives, including recognition programs, cash prizes, trip rewards, and opportunities for personal discounted travel experiences. A notable benefit includes access to company-sponsored IATAN cards, providing exclusive travel industry perks and discounts. The role requires availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings, reflecting the dynamic nature of the travel industry and client needs.

Financially, the position begins with an hourly base rate and offers competitive earnings potential, including an average annual salary range between $67,300 and $82,300 after successful completion of the training program and meeting sales targets, with uncapped incentives available. The benefits package is comprehensive, covering health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) savings plans with company match, pension plans, tuition assistance, paid time off including floating holidays, paid parental leave, wellness programs, and various employee discounts.

In summary, the Travel Consultant role at Auto Club Enterprises is ideally suited for individuals who are passionate about travel and service, driven by sales success, highly organized, and eager to grow within a respected, stable, and forward-thinking organization.
