Job Requirements

  • one year of experience in cath lab or cardiac tech role
  • valid certification or licensure as required by state
  • willingness to travel for assignment
  • ability to work daytime shifts
  • must be able to comply with hospital regulations and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of experience as a cath lab tech
  • knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
  • certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent credentials
  • strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control
  • ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment
  • monitor patients' vital signs and responses during procedures
  • ensure sterile techniques and infection control protocols are followed
  • maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data
  • assist with patient preparation pre- and post-procedure
  • collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient care
