Job Description
Ally Waste is a nationally recognized valet trash and recycling service provider dedicated to serving apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities across the United States. With a mission centered around keeping communities cleaner, residents happier, and properties running smoothly, Ally Waste stands out in the waste management industry by focusing on excellent service and community satisfaction. The company’s core philosophy is that the people doing the work are the most valuable asset, which drives Ally Waste to invest heavily in its employees, maintain high standards, and cultivate a respectful work environment for colleagues, clients, and residents alike. This approach creates a supportive and respectful atmosphere where every team member can feel valued and empowered. As a growing company, Ally Waste is committed to expanding its reach through new community partnerships and ongoing growth, continuously building a reliable team to maintain its high-quality service.
Ally Waste is currently hiring part-time, night trash collectors, also known as Trash Valets, to join its team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a simple side job or extra income with a flexible evening schedule. The role entails working five nights per week, Sunday through Thursday, with shifts starting at 7 pm. Each shift typically lasts one to two hours, making it an ideal part-time commitment for those looking to supplement their income without interfering with daytime obligations. The pay rate is $40 per night, providing a straightforward way to earn additional money on a consistent basis.
As a Trash Valet, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the cleanliness and efficiency of apartment communities by collecting tied trash bags from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to designated dumpster locations. This role requires working independently outdoors, often in various weather conditions, so candidates should be comfortable being active outside during evening hours. The position also involves taking and uploading photos using a company app, following safety protocols, and wearing personal protective equipment provided by the company to ensure a safe work environment.
To qualify for this rewarding part-time position, candidates must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance listing them as a covered driver. It is essential to have reliable transportation, specifically an open-bed pickup truck, to perform the job duties effectively. Additionally, a smartphone is required for photo documentation and communication purposes. Physical requirements include the ability to carry up to 30 pounds and being active enough to walk stairs and remain engaged for the duration of the shifts. This job is perfect for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and contributing positively to their community while earning extra income.
Working at Ally Waste comes with numerous benefits that make it a great place to work. Employees receive weekly pay every Friday through direct deposit, and they enjoy all major holidays off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Safety is a top priority, with gloves, safety vests, and protective gear always provided to support the team. The shift times are short and primarily in the evening, making it easy to integrate this job into existing schedules. There are opportunities for advancement into leadership roles for those who demonstrate commitment and reliability. After 90 days of tenure, employees become eligible for a 401k plan, supporting long-term financial planning and security.
Joining Ally Waste means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to excellence and community service. Whether you're seeking a side job or a starting point for growth within the waste management industry, Ally Waste offers a supportive environment where your work truly matters. Apply today to be considered for current or upcoming routes in your area and take the first step towards a flexible and rewarding part-time job with Ally Waste.
