Job Duties
- Lift or assist others to lift patients on or off beds, examination tables, surgical tables, or stretchers
- Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or moveable beds to treatment units, testing units, operating rooms, or other areas
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, or portable medical equipment
- Document needed repairs or maintenance of equipment
- Respond to emergency situations including emergency medical calls, security calls, or fire alarms
- Maintain a safe environment by complying with policies and procedures and addressing environmental hazards and violations of patient safety protocols
- Perform other duties as requested
