Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years relevant transportation or logistics experience
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations
- Experience using computerized fleet management software
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of Department of Transportation and safety regulations
- Experience operating computerized fleet management systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to train and evaluate drivers
- Proficient in data entry and administration
Job Duties
- Supervises associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution
- Assists in scheduling and ensures deliveries and pickups are timely
- Rides with drivers for training and evaluation purposes
- Assists Transportation/Operations Manager with day-to-day administration including calculating driver payroll and reviewing trip logs
- Ensures drivers comply with DOT and OpCo regulations
- Monitors vehicle safety and safe handling practices
- Coordinates tracking of driver information such as license status, tickets, and accidents
- Ensures accurate completion of delivery and driver paperwork
- Reviews maintenance of trucks, tractors and trailers via post-trip inspections
- Collaborates to optimize routes and minimize operating expenses
- Performs other related duties as assigned
