Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years experience in passenger transportation industry
- Experience in safety management or operations management
- Ability to provide quality training and manage training materials
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination
- Willingness to work shifts and flexible schedules
- Ability to perform long periods of sitting and computer work
- Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the passenger transportation industry
- Experience in location safety management and/or operations management
- Proven ability providing quality training, including creation and management of training materials
- Knowledge of DOT drug testing regulations and compliance with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40
Job Duties
- Provides behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects of vehicle operation and passenger transportation, including defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading, unloading and securement
- Conducts classroom training in accordance with corporate and location requirements
- Ensures all safety manuals, programs, policies, and procedures are current and meet location needs
- Documents all training activities and ensures accurate completion of training-related employee records
- Establishes relationships with client and corporate personnel to identify additional training needs, resources, and opportunities
- Prepares and conducts monthly safety meetings
- Maintains an adequate and complete employee filing system and participates in audits and inspections
- Directs the location drug and alcohol program including random drug testing and ensures files are updated to pass audits
- Manages the injury prevention program to reduce workplace injuries
- Conducts accident investigations using root-cause analysis and assigns employee re-training as required
- Maintains and posts OSHA log
- Conducts road observations to evaluate operator safety, customer service, and systematic knowledge of service
- Provides coaching and re-training as required on Drive Cam
- Responds to customer comments related to the service
- Performs other duties as required
