Job Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of experience in guest services and/or dealing with the general public
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License
- Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Ability to perform physical activities including balancing, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, hearing, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, talking
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors exposed to temperature extremes, noise, moving vehicles, and other hazards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in guest services or dealing with the general public
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of vehicles including use of air brakes
- Familiarity with Albuquerque streets, roads, airports, and surrounding areas
- Good guest service skills
- Understanding of hazard and safety practices related to vehicle operation
- Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to maintain and update certifications
- Effective communication skills with the general public
- Ability to build rapport with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Deliver the highest level of service while interacting with guests, peers, and other employees
- Travel to assigned destinations transporting guests to and from casino, resort, airport, and other approved locations
- Perform pre-inspection and complete inspection sheets on vehicles prior to departure
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and acknowledge all provided information
- Follow departmental standard operational procedures
- Comply with all traffic regulations
- Assist passengers and their baggage during loading and unloading
- Report delays, traffic citations, incidents, or accidents
- Advise passengers on safety requirements and behavior while traveling
- Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort
- Make minor vehicle repairs and change tires as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles
- Build professional relationships with internal and external contacts
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance according to scheduled shifts
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Serve as initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner
- Demonstrate empathy and resolve guest issues timely to ensure satisfaction
- Build relationships with guests based on respect and friendliness
- Possess knowledge of resort, casino, and transportation programs
- Adhere to key performance indicators and performance reviews
