Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service with a concentration in logistics and supply chain or related field or internal BGS experience of a similar nature
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using MS Office and Windows applications
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Able to work weekends, holidays and/or extended hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service with a focus on logistics or supply chain, Minimum of 3 years experience using MS Office and Windows applications, Associates Degree preferred, Experience in a fast paced high volume commodities department preferred, More than 3 years experience in the transportation/logistics industry as a coordinator or shipment router preferred, Good basic math skills, Transferable internal BGS experience with knowledge of BITS, ATLAS and GARCIA preferred, Professional and positive demeanor, Excellent customer service skills, Collaborative work style, Good ethics and integrity, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Strong attention to detail, Analytical problem solving skills

Job Duties

  • Receive incoming calls and e-mails from internal customers and affiliates, Filter incoming internal inquiries through proper channels to find timely solutions, Coordinate day to day activities of all transportation shipments, Communicate with internal affiliates and operational departments for shipment updates, Work with Customer Care operations team to research brokerage and import/export delays, Work with internal teams and CIT to attain PODs and pickup confirmations, Develop strong communicative relationships with route supervisors and operations managers
