The Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) positions at varying levels offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the inspection and oversight of roadway, bridge, and related infrastructure projects within Pennsylvania. These roles demand a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. TCIs at Stantec are responsible for reviewing project drawings to prepare for inspections, conducting field measurements to document quantities for pay items, and ensuring proper traffic control is in place on work sites. They also inspect erosion control devices to verify maintenance and compliance with permits and monitor material certifications according to client procedures, playing an essential role in maintaining the integrity and safety of transportation projects.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma
- minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects
- experience with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike projects
- must possess at least one of the following certifications: current NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt, PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or relevant experience
- minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects
- Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience
