Job Requirements

  • Generate revenue by managing and exceeding monthly goals
  • Demonstrate client focus by handling urgent client and management requests
  • Exhibit superior decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline from prospect to client
  • Generate leads through referrals, cold calls, meetings, and networking
  • Respond promptly to client needs with industry knowledge
  • Maintain client relationships with relevant recommendations

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years international and domestic logistics and cargo transportation sales experience
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Established presence in the logistics marketplace preferred
  • Proven sales track record in business development
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Job Duties

  • Generate sales revenue and lead business development efforts
  • Manage a profitable book of business to exceed revenue goals
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities independently
  • Maintain detailed sales pipeline through CRM
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Negotiate and create client proposals
  • Present and price client RFQ requests
