Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Eight years of related experience in maritime patrol aircraft
  • Minimum of 1000 flight hours in P-3C and/or P-8A
  • Demonstrated program management experience
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
  • P-8 FRS instructor experience
  • P-8 operational experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe, NMCI, SIPR, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Eight years of related experience in maritime patrol aircraft
  • Minimum of 1000 flight hours in P-3C and/or P-8A
  • Demonstrated program management experience
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
  • P-8 FRS instructor experience
  • P-8 operational experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe, NMCI, SIPR, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Desire for air to air refueling instructor experience
  • Desire for test experience

Job Duties

  • Directing and coordinating pilot positional training of aircraft and aircraft systems
  • Develop Fleet and FRS P-8A training syllabi for pilot qualification on aircraft and aircraft systems
  • Research, preparation, and instruction of training materials and technical reports on aircraft improvements for Fleet testers and training personnel
  • Instruction of Fleet and FMS pilots and aircrew in classroom, aircraft, and simulators
  • Perform additional duties as required by government customer
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours
  • Travel up to 20 percent
