Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of relevant experience in ITS signals or related traffic signals field
  • valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with no air brake restriction
  • residency in the State of Arizona during employment
  • ability to work rotating on-call schedules and mandatory overtime
  • compliance with unannounced alcohol and drug testing
  • willingness to adhere to safety regulations
  • good physical condition for performing work in various environments
  • ability to operate commercial vehicles safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least two years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of ITS signals or similar electrical equipment
  • some construction experience
  • possession of a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with no air brake restriction
  • preferred certification from ATSSA Traffic Control Technician or IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician
  • preferred IMSA Traffic Signal Field Technician Level II Certification

Job Duties

  • Install traffic signals and street lighting equipment
  • maintain and repair signalized intersections and intelligent transportation systems
  • troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within traffic signals
  • perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on traffic control devices
  • operate commercial vehicles to transport necessary equipment and materials
  • participate in on-call rotation and mandatory overtime when required
  • ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
