Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of relevant experience in ITS signals or related traffic signals field
- valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with no air brake restriction
- residency in the State of Arizona during employment
- ability to work rotating on-call schedules and mandatory overtime
- compliance with unannounced alcohol and drug testing
- willingness to adhere to safety regulations
- good physical condition for performing work in various environments
- ability to operate commercial vehicles safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- at least two years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of ITS signals or similar electrical equipment
- some construction experience
- possession of a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with no air brake restriction
- preferred certification from ATSSA Traffic Control Technician or IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician
- preferred IMSA Traffic Signal Field Technician Level II Certification
Job Duties
- Install traffic signals and street lighting equipment
- maintain and repair signalized intersections and intelligent transportation systems
- troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within traffic signals
- perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on traffic control devices
- operate commercial vehicles to transport necessary equipment and materials
- participate in on-call rotation and mandatory overtime when required
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
