Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory roles preferred
  • must complete sanitation course before or during first year
  • ability to multitask and manage schedules
  • basic math skills
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work occasional nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production to ensure safety and quality
  • ensure safe and organized food storage
  • maintain serving schedules following menu specifications
  • uphold sanitary department conditions
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • maintain safe and hazard-free environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacements
  • multitask effectively
  • perform additional duties as requested
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage catering event preparations and delivery
  • work occasional night and weekend events
  • attend food service meetings
  • maintain staff communication
