Job Description
IMPRES Technology Solutions is a dynamic company operating in the technology and government contracting sector, known for its specialized focus on delivering comprehensive IT solutions to defense and federal clients. Located in Round Rock, Texas, IMPRES combines industry expertise with innovative technology to drive meaningful impact for its customers. As a recognized leader in federal contracting and technology services, IMPRES fosters a collaborative and forward-looking work environment that encourages employee growth, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. The company culture emphasizes teamwork, transparency, and measurable results, positioning IMPRES as a trusted partner within the federal and defense markets.
The Tradeshow and Events Manager role at IMPRES Technology Solutions is a critical position tasked with the strategic planning and flawless execution of the company’s participation in a variety of high-profile events. This full-time, hybrid role requires approximately 30 to 40 percent travel and is based in Round Rock, Texas. The individual stepping into this role will be responsible for crafting and managing an extensive annual events calendar that includes major defense and federal IT conferences such as WEST and AFCEA, as well as internal meetings, customer appreciation events, and partner engagements. By owning all aspects of event execution—from selecting appropriate sponsorship opportunities to budget management and overseeing logistics—the manager will significantly enhance brand visibility and lead generation, ultimately supporting IMPRES’s revenue goals.
This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on event management, offering the opportunity to influence marketing initiatives while coordinating cross-functionally with departments like Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership. Key responsibilities include vendor negotiation, travel coordination, booth logistics, lead capture management, and comprehensive post-event analysis. The role demands an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency with project management tools and CRM systems are essential for aligning event outcomes with business objectives.
IMPRES values professionals with a background in marketing, communications, or business, ideally with 3 to 7 years of event planning or tradeshow management experience. The ideal candidate is adept at balancing strategic insights with operational execution, thrives in collaborative settings, and is committed to driving measurable impact through events. U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to the nature of the company’s clientele and contracts. Preferred qualifications include experience within B2B, technology sectors, government contracting, and familiarity with federal and defense industry events. Additionally, certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) are a plus.
IMPRES offers a competitive and market-aligned salary with regular reviews, a bonus program including profit-sharing through 401K plans, and comprehensive benefits covering medical, dental, and vision insurance. The company also provides access to employee assistance programs for mental health support. Joining the Marketing and Events team at IMPRES means becoming part of a strategic group dedicated to amplifying the company’s presence and funneling qualified leads into a measurable sales pipeline. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape how IMPRES connects with its market, drives growth, and builds lasting partnerships through impactful event participation.
