Job Description
The hiring company is a dynamic organization specializing in helping e-commerce merchants and businesses prevent, dispute, and reduce credit card chargebacks. With a strong focus on innovation and customer success, the company offers a collaborative work environment that values employee ideas and promotes professional growth. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and industry expertise, they empower businesses to manage complex chargeback processes more efficiently, thereby improving their bottom line and customer satisfaction.
This company operates within the fintech and e-commerce support sector, which requires a skilled team highly focused on marketing and sales strategies to enhance brand visibility and generate quality leads. As part of its growth strategy, they seek an experienced Tradeshow Events Manager to join their team on a hybrid schedule, offering a mix of three days in office and two days remote work. The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by strong bonus opportunities and a variety of professional development perks.
The Tradeshow Events Manager will be instrumental in executing a comprehensive tradeshow event strategy aligned tightly with the company's business goals. This role is pivotal for increasing brand awareness, driving lead generation, and supporting the marketing and sales teams in creating a powerful pipeline from third-party B2B events. Responsibilities include full lifecycle management of tradeshow events—from strategic planning through marketing, onsite execution, and post-event analysis.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and cross-functional teams including sales, communications, and operations. The role demands an individual who can coordinate all event logistics, manage vendor and association relationships, and optimize event budgets using data-driven insights. A strong project management orientation is essential to maintain protocol adherence across multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
Additionally, this manager will be responsible for driving onsite booth traffic, articulating the company’s value propositions effectively, and ensuring consistent branding and messaging in line with corporate guidelines. The role also requires precise tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and event return on investment (ROI) to measure and demonstrate event success.
This position requires managing event and tradeshow staff, volunteers, and contractors efficiently, guaranteeing flawless event execution and prompt troubleshooting whenever issues arise. Beyond trade shows, the role supports planning and execution of webinars, providing additional avenues for customer engagement and demand generation.
Candidates should bring at least 3-5 years of proven experience in managing B2B third-party events with demonstrated contributions to demand creation and pipeline development. A four-year degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Marketing is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HubSpot, event project management tools like Monday and SharePoint, as well as marketing automation technologies, is crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends to accommodate events and travel requirements is a must, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Vendor negotiation and management expertise will ensure optimal event expenditures and beneficial partnerships.
Joining this company means becoming part of a dedicated and supportive team culture focused on success, growth, and innovation. Employees benefit from a hybrid working model, competitive salary with bonuses, and ample opportunities for career advancement within a thriving and supportive corporate environment.
