Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial service preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and other associates
  • ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift

Job Duties

  • Maintain service closets and room attendants carts with linen and supplies
  • remove soiled items from vacant dirty rooms and room attendant carts
  • replace hangers and robes in guest rooms
  • transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • clean vacuum dust guest hallways
  • deep clean rooms
  • prepare VIP arrivals
  • turn in lost and found items
  • assist guest and members in a friendly and professional manner
  • maintain equipment and report problems or service needs to supervisors
  • perform other duties assigned by supervisors or managers
  • keep work area neat and clean
  • assist in other areas assigned by manager
  • move furniture when requested by manager
  • report safety concerns to manager
