Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any shift 7 day a week operation including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must have high school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Tower Coordinator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Competent in handling difficult situations
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Job Duties

  • Maintains good situational awareness of all airlines and operations and provides for continuous dissemination of pertinent operational information and timely updates to appropriate field leadership
  • Maintains professional contact and operational coordination dialogue with airlines, airport operations, and flight control to ensure timely, reliable and cost-effective service
  • Communicates and confers with personnel, supervisors and managers to coordinate activities with all departments
  • Assures compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency
  • Promotes and drives a safety first culture through all levels of the organization
  • Leads and motivates hardworking teams to deliver excellent quality and productivity
  • Takes responsibility for safety and security as an essential job function
  • Performs other duties as assigned
