Job Description
The hiring establishment is a hospitality-focused entity, likely operating within a resort or hotel environment that features recreational facilities such as pools and beaches. This company places a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and operational excellence, ensuring that all aspects of guest services and amenities are maintained to the highest standards. As a part-time employer, the organization offers flexible working hours between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking employment in a supportive and engaging environment. The role of Towel Attendant is crucial in upholding the cleanliness and readiness of towels and linen used across the pool and beach areas, as well as the bungalows. This ensures a seamless and pleasant guest experience from the moment they arrive at the pool or beach facilities. This company prioritizes cleanliness, inventory management, and customer-facing service, which together create an inviting and well-organized atmosphere for all guests.
The position of Towel Attendant includes a variety of responsibilities centered around managing towel distribution and maintenance. The attendant is directly responsible for distributing towels to guests, making certain that a sufficient and continuous supply of clean towels is always available. Additionally, the role involves collecting used towels and ensuring their timely delivery to the laundry facilities as well as maintaining an accurate and organized inventory of towels. An important aspect of this role is monitoring the condition of all towels and other linens, removing any that are damaged, stained, or soiled to maintain quality standards. Furthermore, the Towel Attendant supports the Pool and Beach teams by managing towel carts, folding and rolling towels, and contributing to the overall cleanliness of these high-traffic areas. The position also extends to assisting the Bungalow Concierge with restocking efforts during the evening, ensuring that bungalows are fully supplied and guest-ready.
This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently manage inventory-related tasks and uphold exceptional cleanliness standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important, as the attendant frequently interacts with guests and team members. Because the position involves standing for extended periods and working outdoors, physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry towels and supplies are essential. The Towel Attendant works closely with Recreation Managers to support various departmental functions and ensure smooth operations within recreational spaces. Overall, this is a dynamic role that combines hospitality, custodial, and logistical duties to enhance the guest experience at a premium leisure establishment.
