Job Description
The Splash Water Parade is an innovative touring production renowned for its captivating blend of singers, dancers, spectacular water effects, cutting-edge technology, and dazzling performances. This unique parade travels across multiple cities, offering audiences an unforgettable entertainment experience that merges artistry and technical mastery. Combining the talents of a diverse group of performers and technical crew, the production emphasizes creativity, precision, and showmanship at every stage of performance. The company is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of live entertainment, providing audience members with a mesmerizing spectacle that celebrates both artistry and advanced stagecraft.
The Splash Water Parade Touring Team is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tour Manager for the 2026 season. This is a seasonal employment opportunity, designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and possess strong leadership abilities. The Tour Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all artistic and technical components of the Splash Water Parade during its run at a variety of theme parks across the United States, coordinating complex logistics and ensuring the successful execution of multiple performances.
Work for this role is based on a six-day workweek, with daily shifts ranging typically between 8 and 10 hours. The company covers all travel expenses and hotel accommodations for tour personnel, providing hotel rooms based on double occupancy. While meal expenses are the responsibility of the individual, the flat pay structure means compensation is straightforward without a separate per diem. Tour dates for 2026 include the Blue Tour and the Green Tour, each with specific locations and timelines, such as Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion among others.
As the Tour Manager, you will be directly responsible for managing rehearsals, run-throughs, and live shows, coordinating casting and technical crew to maintain the highest standards of performance quality and safety. This role requires seamless communication between performers, technical teams, park personnel, choreographers, musicians, and designers to uphold the artistic vision of the parade. Additionally, responsibilities include coordinating travel logistics, ensuring equipment transport between venues, managing schedules, and enforcing compliance with safety regulations.
The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in entertainment leadership, especially within touring productions or theme park environments. A strong understanding of float operations, show control, and water-based effects is essential, as is familiarity with contractual labor agreements and safety protocols for live events. You will also be expected to troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues during performances and maintain detailed reports and documentation throughout the tour.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a groundbreaking touring production, leading talented teams and contributing to a spectacular live entertainment experience enjoyed by audiences nationwide. Joining the Splash Water Parade team means becoming part of a creative community committed to excellence, innovation, and unforgettable performance artistry.
