The Splash Water Parade is an innovative and spectacular touring production that combines the talents of singers, dancers, and technical experts to deliver an unforgettable live entertainment experience. Bringing together breathtaking water effects, cutting-edge technology, and dazzling performances, this show is uniquely designed for multi-city tours, captivating audiences across the country. The 2026 Splash Water Parade will feature two multi-city tours known as the Blue Tour and Green Tour, which will visit premier theme parks including Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion. This role focuses on the critical leadership position of Tour Manager, with one Tour Manager assigned per tour. As a Tour Manager, you will report directly to the Tour Director and be responsible for overseeing all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade at each park venue. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of each performance, coordinating rehearsals, run-throughs, and live shows to meet the highest standards of entertainment excellence. You will serve as the vital communication link between performers, technical crews, choreographers, musicians, designers, and park personnel to maintain a cohesive and synchronized production schedule. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of managing diverse teams under pressure while upholding safety protocols and maintaining the artistic vision of the show.
In addition to managing the performance quality, you will handle operational logistics including travel bookings, hotel accommodations, transportation of equipment, schedules of arrivals and departures, and rehearsal planning. Your leadership will extend to troubleshooting real-time issues whether technical, artistic, or logistical, ensuring that each show runs flawlessly despite unforeseen challenges such as weather delays. You will act as the primary point of contact with local park management to guarantee adherence to safety guidelines, health regulations, and operational procedures. Your duties will also include organizing safety briefings, overseeing equipment breakdown and transport post-show, managing all park assets responsibly, and preparing detailed reports for the senior producers and production team. Job Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to drive a parade float when necessary
- 5-10 years of experience in entertainment leadership either on tours or in theme park environments
- Proven leadership experience managing diverse performance and technical teams
- Strong understanding of float operations, show control, and water-based effects
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for live entertainment and touring shows
- Ability to understand and interpret various contractual labor agreements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience with windows-based computers and office products such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Proficiency in coordinating with creative directors, performers, and technical teams
- Extensive travel experience within the US
- Knowledge of logistics for multi-location tours including travel, asset transportation, and setup
Job Duties
- Report to the Tour Director
- Oversee all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade during its run at each park
- Ensure successful execution of performances including managing rehearsals, run-throughs, and shows
- Coordinate with performers, technical crews, and park personnel for smooth production scheduling
- Work with choreographers, musicians, and designers to maintain artistic vision
- Conduct and supervise rehearsals and provide on-site direction
- Manage cast and crew performance ensuring adherence to schedules, safety, and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in real-time
- Coordinate travel and transportation bookings for cast and crew
- Confirm hotel accommodations for all personnel
- Coordinate transport of equipment, sets, and costumes between parks
- Manage arrival and departure schedules for performers and staff
- Create and manage rehearsal schedules
- Ensure availability of equipment and facilities for rehearsals
- Provide weekly rehearsal reports to senior producers
- Serve as primary contact with local park management
- Liaise between production team and park staff for logistics
- Oversee and manage daily performance schedules
- Ensure timely performer arrival and preparation
- Maintain artistic integrity and quality of the show
- Re-block performances if necessary
- Provide daily show progress updates
- Report logistics, crew, and performer status regularly
- Document incidents or issues and propose solutions
