Job Description
The 2026 Touring Water Parade is an innovative and visually stunning production that brings together singers, dancers, advanced water effects, cutting-edge technology, and captivating performances to create an unforgettable experience. Presented as the Splash Water Parade, this touring show is set to visit multiple cities across the United States during the 2026 season. This production is unique in its combination of artistic talent and technical sophistication, designed to delight audiences with dazzling live entertainment set against a backdrop of spectacular water displays. The production travels as part of two separate multi-city tours, known as the Blue Tour and the Green Tour, each featuring a schedule of exciting locations including Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion among others.
The Splash Water Parade Touring Team is seeking talented individuals who bring diverse expertise in technical production, operations, and creative performance. Each role is seasonal with work based on a demanding six-day workweek where daily shifts can range between 8 to 10 hours. While the company provides comprehensive travel and housing arrangements including hotel accommodations with double occupancy, individuals are responsible for their own meal expenses. The pay rates are flat with no additional per diem allowances.
Specifically, the available role of Tour Manager positions a dedicated professional to oversee every artistic and technical element of the parade during its run at each park stop. Reporting directly to the Tour Director, the Tour Manager is responsible for executing each performance flawlessly, managing everything from rehearsals and run-throughs to the live shows themselves. This entails close coordination with performers, choreographers, musicians, technical crews, and park personnel to maintain the high standards of this production. The successful candidate will skillfully balance the artistic vision of the parade with logistical realities, ensuring that every element from float operation to water effects functions smoothly and safely.
Tour Managers will lead the cast and crew in adherence to performance schedules, safety regulations, and quality requirements both onstage and behind the scenes. Problem-solving and quick decision-making during live shows is critical to address any unforeseen challenges. On the operational side, the Tour Manager handles travel bookings, hotel arrangements, transportation of essential production assets like equipment and costumes, and communication with venue management to align on policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves creating and managing rehearsal schedules, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting, and leading safety meetings for the entire team.
This role is highly demanding but rewarding, offering an opportunity to be at the forefront of a high-profile touring production that pushes the boundaries of live entertainment. The position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire confidence, foster teamwork, and oversee smooth show operations across multiple city venues. With extensive travel, dynamic environments, and a dedicated team, joining the 2026 Touring Water Parade Team means becoming part of a groundbreaking entertainment experience that captivates audiences while demonstrating professional excellence in theatrical production and tour management.
