Job Description

The 2026 Touring Water Parade, known as the Splash Water Parade, is an innovative and spectacular touring production that redefines live entertainment by seamlessly blending the talents of singers, dancers, and performers with breathtaking water effects and cutting-edge technology. This production is designed to enthrall audiences across multiple cities with dazzling performances that combine artistry, technology, and theatrical prowess in an outdoor parade format. The Splash Water Parade operates two separate multi-city tours, namely the Blue Tour and the Green Tour, each visiting premier theme parks in different geographic regions. The company behind this production is at the forefront of live event entertainment, combining creative vision with technical expertise to deliver world-class performances in dynamic and varied environments. All roles associated with this tour are seasonal and demand a strong commitment to a 6-day workweek, with daily shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours. The company fully covers travel and housing expenses, providing hotel accommodations on a double occupancy basis; however, meal expenses are not included. Compensation is offered at flat pay rates with no additional per diem payments.

The Tour Manager role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the complete artistic and technical execution of the Splash Water Parade during its run at each park throughout the tour. This individual will report directly to the Tour Director and play a pivotal role in the success of each performance by managing rehearsals, run-throughs, and live shows. The Tour Manager will coordinate closely with performers, technical crews, choreographers, musicians, and venue personnel to maintain the artistic integrity and high production standards that the Splash Water Parade is known for. In addition to providing guidance and on-site direction during rehearsals and performances, this role requires strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise related to performance logistics, artistic challenges, or technical difficulties in real time.

Beyond performance management, the Tour Manager is heavily involved in coordinating logistics such as booking and managing travel arrangements for cast and crew, confirming hotel stays, overseeing transportation of equipment and costumes, and managing daily schedules for arrivals, rehearsals, and performances. The position demands excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between the production team and park management, ensuring compliance with park policies, safety regulations, and all operational protocols. The manager will also lead safety briefings, document incidents and solutions, and maintain thorough records including rehearsal reports, performance logs, and travel documentation. This role requires the flexibility to adjust schedules to accommodate weather delays or other unforeseen events, maintaining smooth operations at all times.

The Tour Manager is vital in preserving the high quality and artistic vision of the Splash Water Parade from show to show, working under pressure to keep the performances seamless across multiple venues and locations. This role calls for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possesses extensive experience in large-scale entertainment production, especially within theme parks or live touring shows. The successful candidate will possess a clean U.S. driver’s license, be willing to drive a parade float when necessary, and have a strong understanding of operational safety standards related to float and water effect performances. Candidates should be adept with Windows-based office software including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, showcasing proficiency in digital tools needed to manage communications and documentation effectively. This is a seasonal leadership opportunity in the entertainment industry that offers exciting travel and a chance to be part of an innovative and visually spectacular production that captivates audiences across the country.
