Job Description
The 2026 Touring Water Parade is an innovative and spectacular production combining singing, dancing, water effects, technology, and dazzling performances designed to thrill audiences across the United States. This touring show, known as the Splash Water Parade, is a multi-city tour event that travels to premier theme parks such as Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion. The tour offers seasonal employment opportunities for skilled and talented individuals who want to be part of a vibrant and exciting entertainment experience. This company is dedicated to presenting a high-caliber performance that merges artistic vision with advanced technical execution, bringing together a diverse team of performers, technicians, creative professionals, and operational staff.
The role available is Tour Manager, a pivotal leadership position responsible for the seamless execution of each show stop. This seasonal position requires overseeing all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade during its presentation at each host venue throughout the tour. The Tour Manager will manage rehearsals, performances, and crew coordination, ensuring every detail from artistic direction to safety protocols is impeccably addressed. This is a 6-day workweek role with daily hours ranging between 8 to 10 hours, spanning the length of the tour schedule, which typically runs from mid-May to late August depending on the tour assignment (Blue Tour or Green Tour).
The company covers travel and housing expenses for the Tour Manager and their team, providing hotel accommodations based on double occupancy. While meal expenses are not covered, the role is compensated on a flat pay basis with no additional per diem. This position reports directly to the Tour Director and functions as the central communications link between performers, technical crews, park management, and tour leadership.
Key responsibilities include orchestrating rehearsals and performances, ensuring adherence to schedules and safety standards, troubleshooting any performance or logistical issues in real-time, and overseeing transportation and accommodation logistics. The Tour Manager ensures all equipment and park assets are managed responsibly and coordinates closely with local park staff to meet operational and safety requirements. They also provide timely updates and reports to senior management, document incidents and challenges, and maintain open communication channels throughout the tour.
This dynamic and demanding role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in entertainment production, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics across multiple locations. It offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking touring production that combines creativity, technology, and live performance in a unique and thrilling format. Candidates will find themselves immersed in a fast-paced environment where leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration are essential for success. Join the Splash Water Parade Touring Team in bringing this spectacular show to audiences nationwide and contribute to an unforgettable entertainment experience.
