Job Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to drive a parade float when necessary
  • 5-10 years of entertainment leadership experience in tours or theme parks
  • Ability to manage diverse performance and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of show control and water effects
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
  • Ability to interpret contractual labor agreements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with travel logistics and multi-location tour coordination

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 5-10 years of experience in entertainment leadership on tours or theme park environments
  • Proven leadership managing diverse performance and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of float operations, show control, and water-based effects
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for live entertainment
  • Ability to interpret contractual labor agreements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Windows-based computers and office software including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working on theme park parades or large-scale outdoor performances
  • Proficient in coordinating with creative directors, performers, and technical teams
  • Extensive travel experience within the US
  • Knowledge of logistics for multi-location tours including travel and equipment transportation

Job Duties

  • Report to the Tour Director
  • Oversee all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade show during its run at each park
  • Ensure successful execution of performances including managing rehearsals, run-throughs, and shows
  • Coordinate with performers, technical crews, and park personnel
  • Work directly with choreographers, musicians, and designers to maintain artistic vision
  • Conduct and supervise rehearsals and provide direction to performers
  • Manage cast and crew adherence to schedule, safety standards, and performance quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical, artistic, or logistical issues in real-time
  • Coordinate travel, transportation, and hotel accommodations for cast and crew
  • Manage transportation of equipment, sets, and costumes
  • Schedule arrivals and departures for performers and staff
  • Create and manage detailed rehearsal schedules
  • Ensure availability of equipment and facilities for rehearsals
  • Provide weekly rehearsal reports to senior producers
  • Serve as primary liaison with each park’s local management
  • Oversee daily performance schedule and ensure timely performer preparation
  • Maintain artistic integrity and quality of the show throughout the tour
  • Manage unforeseen re-blocks in the absence of performance cast
  • Provide daily updates to senior management
  • Document incidents and propose solutions
  • Maintain open communication with all team members
  • Ensure park health and safety regulation adherence
  • Organize and oversee safety meetings
  • Oversee equipment breakdown and transport after shows
  • Ensure proper return of park assets
  • Complete post-show reports and submit feedback
  • Prepare and maintain necessary tour documentation
  • Adjust schedule as needed for weather or unforeseen events
