The Splash Water Parade is an innovative and thrilling touring production known for its spectacular combination of talented singers, dancers, stunning water effects, cutting-edge technology, and mesmerizing performances. It is a multi-city touring event that captivates audiences with its unique blend of artistic and technical excellence. The parade offers an immersive experience that appeals to families and thrill-seekers alike, making it a standout attraction at various theme parks across the country.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Willingness to drive parade floats when necessary
  • 5-10 years of relevant entertainment leadership experience
  • Ability to manage high-pressure performance environments
  • Knowledge of float operations and show control
  • Understanding of safety standards for live shows
  • Ability to read and interpret labor contracts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software
  • Ability to travel extensively within the U.S.
  • Ability to work long hours on a six-day work week
  • Ability to live and work in varied locations during tours
  • Physical ability to oversee setup and breakdown of equipment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in event or production management preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record
  • 5-10 years of entertainment leadership experience in tours or theme park environments
  • Proven leadership managing diverse performance and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of float operations, show control, and water-based effects
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for live entertainment
  • Ability to interpret contractual labor agreements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in theme park parades or large-scale outdoor performances preferred
  • Skilled in coordinating with creative directors, performers, and technical teams
  • Extensive U.S. travel experience including air, ground, and hotel logistics
  • Knowledgeable about logistics of multi-location tours including asset transportation and setup

Job Duties

  • Report to the Tour Director
  • Oversee all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade Show at each park
  • Manage rehearsals, run-throughs, and performances
  • Coordinate with performers, technical crews, and park personnel
  • Work with choreographers, musicians, and designers to maintain artistic vision
  • Conduct and supervise rehearsals providing direction on-site
  • Manage cast and crew performance adhering to schedule and safety
  • Troubleshoot performance-related issues in real-time
  • Coordinate booking and management of travel and transportation
  • Confirm hotel accommodations ensuring team comfort
  • Coordinate transportation of equipment, sets, and costumes
  • Manage arrival and departure schedules
  • Create and manage detailed rehearsal schedules
  • Ensure availability of equipment and facilities
  • Provide weekly rehearsal reports to senior producers
  • Serve as primary contact with park management
  • Liaise regarding show load-in, rehearsals, and operations
  • Oversee and manage daily performance schedules
  • Ensure timely arrival and preparation of performers
  • Maintain artistic integrity and quality throughout the tour
  • Re-block performances in absence of cast members
  • Provide daily updates to senior management
  • Report logistics, crew, and performer status regularly
  • Document incidents and propose solutions
  • Maintain open communication with team members
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Organize safety meetings and briefings
  • Oversee breakdown and transport of equipment
  • Ensure return of park assets
  • Complete post-show reports
  • Maintain documentation related to tour
  • Adjust schedules for weather or unforeseen circumstances
