Job Description

The Splash Water Parade Touring Team presents an extraordinary opportunity for dedicated professionals to join one of the most innovative touring productions in the entertainment industry. The Splash Water Parade is an exhilarating, multi-city touring production that combines exceptional artistic elements with fascinating water effects and advanced technology. This production offers a unique combination of live singing, dancing, and high-tech performances designed to captivate audiences at esteemed locations such as amusement parks and large venues across the United States. It’s a seasonal touring show that requires a team with high-level technical, operational, and creative skills to ensure the success of this spectacle at every stop along the tour.

The role in focus is the Tour Manager, a pivotal leadership position within this seasonal touring company. The Tour Manager is responsible for overseeing every artistic and technical component of the Splash Water Parade production during its scheduled performances at multiple venues. This position entails working closely with the Tour Director to ensure that every show runs smoothly and with the highest standard of quality and safety. This includes managing daily operations, coordinating rehearsals, and maintaining effective communication with all performers, technical teams, and venue staff. The Tour Manager’s job is multifaceted, involving logistics, personnel management, artistic direction, and live performance troubleshooting. Individuals selected for this role will have the opportunity to play a critical part in touring two distinct circuits: the Blue Tour, which travels to locations including Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds in North Carolina, and Dorney Park in Pennsylvania, and the Green Tour, which covers Kings Dominion in Virginia.

This seasonal position requires candidates to commit to a demanding six-day work week, with daily hours ranging between 8 and 10. The company covers travel and housing costs, with accommodations provided in hotel rooms based on double occupancy, although meal expenses are the responsibility of the team members. Compensation is provided as flat pay without a separate per diem allowance. The work environments are dynamic and fast-paced, demanding exceptional organizational skills, real-time problem solving, and a strong commitment to safety and performance excellence.

Joining the Splash Water Parade team means becoming part of a groundbreaking production and gaining invaluable experience in managing large-scale live entertainment events in diverse and ever-changing environments. It’s ideal for professionals with extensive leadership experience in entertainment, those who have a passion for producing world-class shows while traveling, and individuals who enjoy collaborative work with creative and technical experts. This role offers the chance to lead a talented team, uphold artistic standards, and ensure a thrilling experience for audiences while navigating the complexities of a touring live show.
