Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a gourmet or upscale dining environment
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, stove, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and flat top
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to maintain personal grooming and uniform standards
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a gourmet or professional cook
  • Knowledge of advanced culinary techniques and cooking methods
  • Ability to read and interpret standardized recipes
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and presentation
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Read, understand, and follow standardized recipes to prepare and cook high-quality dishes to presentation standards
  • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance across all menu items
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked during service
  • Communicate effectively to coordinate pick-ups with fellow culinary team members
  • Minimize waste through proper preparation, storage, and portion control
