The To Go Specialist role at Red Lobster is a dynamic customer service position that focuses on providing timely and accurate order processing and delivery to customers. This position plays a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring that takeout orders are prepared correctly, packed securely, and handed over with a friendly and helpful attitude. The To Go Specialist is responsible for welcoming customers warmly, handling order transactions efficiently using the POS system, suggestively selling beverages, appetizers, and desserts to enrich customer meals, and assisting customers with their takeout needs. Additionally, this role requires adherence to all food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience is beneficial
  • ability to use POS systems efficiently
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • detail-oriented with ability to multitask
  • capable of working in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet everyone with a smile
  • suggest sale of beverages, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • pack prepared food and beverage orders in appropriate containers ensuring orders are complete and customers can transport them safely
  • carry/deliver orders to customers inside and outside the restaurant for pickup in designated area and handle transactions
  • thank customers and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety regulations
