This Texas-based restaurant chain has become a beloved brand by combining high-quality food with exceptional customer service in a fun, energetic atmosphere. The company is renowned for its dedication to fostering a positive work culture that nurtures growth, teamwork, and career development among its staff. It is this culture that sets Texas Roadhouse apart from many other dining establishments, making it a popular choice not only for customers seeking great food but also for individuals looking to join a supportive and dynamic workplace.

The To-Go Roadie role at Texas Roadhouse is a crucial position within the restaurant's carry-out operations. This role demands a friendly and enthusiastic attitude as To-Go Roadies are the front line of interaction with guests who choose to enjoy Texas Roadhouse flavors at home. This includes greeting guests warmly when they place or pick up orders, accurately taking phone orders using proper phone etiquette, and utilizing a thorough knowledge of the menu to ensure all orders are correct and meet customer expectations.

The To-Go Roadie must demonstrate strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail when packaging orders so that all items are complete and presented neatly. Collaboration with back-of-house staff is also essential to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Additionally, this position involves managing order timing by working closely with restaurant managers to provide customers with accurate quotes on how long their food preparation will take. Familiarity with the restaurant's online and mobile ordering systems as well as the point of sale (POS) system is necessary for processing orders, payments, and gift card sales. Maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation, practicing teamwork, and keeping a positive attitude are also fundamental to success in this role.

Texas Roadhouse offers a supportive environment for its Roadies, with flexible work schedules and opportunities for advancement. Roadies are paid weekly and enjoy a range of benefits after one year of service, including best-in-class medical plans, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually, paid vacation time, and other valuable insurance options. Employees also benefit from an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, business travel insurance, and an annual holiday bonus. This comprehensive benefits package reflects Texas Roadhouse's commitment to the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
