Texas Roadhouse is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as To-Go Roadies, supporting the carryout operations and ensuring customers receive the same exceptional experience as dine-in guests. This position is essential in managing the flow of takeout orders from start to finish, from answering phone calls and accurately taking orders to coordinating with kitchen staff and executing timely pickups.

A To-Go Roadie at Texas Roadhouse is responsible for providing legendary service with a warm welcome and sincere goodbye to each guest, ensuring every order is prepared and packaged with accuracy and care. They must demonstrate strong organization skills and a deep knowledge of the menu to help guests make selections and place orders efficiently. Additionally, To-Go Roadies act as the vital communication link between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain smooth operations.

Familiarity with online and mobile app ordering systems is required to manage digital orders and maintain accuracy. Proficiency in using the point of sale (POS) system is essential for handling transactions, including cash, credit cards, and gift card sales. The role demands adherence to safety and sanitation protocols to guarantee food quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure each guest receives a legendary welcome and goodbye when placing or picking up their order
  • Use proper phone etiquette when answering calls and taking orders
  • Be knowledgeable of menu to accurately take and place orders
  • Demonstrate strong organization and accuracy when packaging orders
  • Work collaboratively with Back of House staff to complete orders
  • Partner with Restaurant Managers on quote times and provide accurate quotes to guests on order completion
  • Understand online and mobile app ordering systems
  • Accurately use point of sale (POS) system to place orders and process sales
  • Practice proper safety and sanitation procedures
  • Exhibit teamwork at all times
